Luxury group house on the edge of the village
Wald im Pinzgau, Salzburgerland, Austria
This combination of 2 lodges is offered as a group home. They are located next to each other and connected via a balcony accessible from the living room and the outside stairs. Both lodges have their own sauna, so you can unwind after an active day. While the kids play carefree on the play equipment, you lean back on the terrace with a drink of your choice. Let the holidays begin!
The group lodge is in a quiet location right by the cross-country ski trail and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre is within walking distance and you will find several restaurants and shops. Every morning you will get fresh rolls from the local bakery here.
Wald-Königsleiten is located between 3 famous ski areas: the Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel ski areas are ideal for holidaymakers who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for families with children. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run.
There is also plenty to do in the region in summer. Its location right next to the national park makes it ideal for hiking and mountain biking through the typical Austrian nature. If you are a real water rat, take a dip in the public Kristall pool. You will also find a number of (mini) golf courses

The two adjoining houses were perfect for our group stay. The rooms and especially the private bathroom for each couple/family were optimally planned and furnished in a great and modern way. The sauna in the basement was nice and well thought out and easy to use. Tumble dryer and washing machine were available free of charge. Outdoor area very well maintained and spacious, great for children, quiet neighbourhood. We would love to stay again!
Very nice and modern lodge. The sauna is very nice (heats up fast). The surroundings are really scenic, and the view from the balcony is amazing (no other houses blocking the view to the mountains) - especially when its a bit foggy or rainy. Caretaker responded really quick and friendly to a small issue. One point to be aware of is space: When filling the house to its limits (10 / 20 people), you may need to juggle a bit - but it is manageable.
Overall, the stay was nice.
Absolutely great holiday!!! The house was great and perfectly located. Shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity and yet in a quiet location. Wonderful view and the children had plenty of space to play in front of the house. The tables both outside and inside provided plenty of space for our large group. The sauna area was spacious and beautifully designed and the equipment was of high quality. The preparation / handling / key issue and return worked really well. Open questions were clarified at short notice. Would holiday there again at any time!
Firstly, cottage 1 was upstairs no power secondly the pans do need replacing the handles are loose and there were not many drinking glasses there were 2 broken

Everything was great except on arrival the cleanliness could be a bit better, especially under the beds. The crockery was only in one house. We would have to divide it up between the houses. Cups, plates, crockery etc. but as I said, everything else is great
well, nothing can always be perfect everywhere. more details will be sent by separate e-mail.
