The ski area consists of the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn/Maiskogel mountains. The Schmittenhöhe is more suitable for beginners and families as it offers easy slopes and many children's facilities.
On the Maiskogel in Kaprun there is a smaller ski area with slopes for beginners and children. However, the slopes here are well prepared and offer a safe environment. Here you will also find a toboggan run, which is illuminated in winter.
The 3K K-onnection connects the Maiskogel with the Kitzsteinhorn.
The Kitzsteinhorn is the highest glacier, at an altitude of 3,203 metres. Here you can ski and snowboard wonderfully, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains! As it has many difficult pistes and deep snow slopes, it is more suitable for experienced skiers and snowboarders.
