The Zillertal is narrowing, the mountains are getting closer and the air is vibrating. Welcome to Mayrhofen (633m above sea level), probably the most active place in the Zillertal. People live and meet here for skiing, après-ski and shopping. The ski bus runs here within the village, since the valley stations of the Penken and Ahornbahn are in the center of the village. (Penken - Ahorn) for all skiers and snowboarders. From easy, medium to difficult, you will be offered a wide variety of descents. The steepest slope is definitely the black Harakiri with a gradient of up to 78%. There is plenty of atmosphere in the 28 ski huts and numerous snow bars.
