With an Alpine-style interior and plenty of privacy, this chalet is ideal for families (for 8 adults and 4 children). On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room with a separate kitchen and access to the terrace. There are 4 bedrooms with shutters and mosquito nets, including a bedroom with a unique pallet bed (maximum 3 adults or 3 children). There are 4 public e-chargers available in the village. Treat yourself to moments of relaxation in the garden with a barrel sauna!
A big advantage of Donnersbachtal is its location in the Austrian state of Styria, not far from Salzburgerland. You pass the border crossing at Passau and thus avoid Munich. As a result, even in high season, you'll drive towards your holiday traffic jam-free! The accommodation in Donnersbachwald is located on a gentle slope with breathtaking views. With its fantastic location near the Riesneralm valley station, the park offers direct access to nature and a babbling brook.
The Austrian winter transforms the area into a fairyland with two snow-sure ski areas, Riesneralm and Planneralm, together accounting for 50 km of slopes. For families, the child-friendly Riesneralm is ideal. Looking for variety? Try the natural toboggan run or cross-country trails close to the chalet.
Summer reveals a different kind of magic with various hiking trails, mountain huts, the challenging 5-Gipfelweg, 3D archery, the E-Enduro Bikepark and fly-fishing. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the unique Gipfel pool, at 1900 metres above sea level, and admire the 360-degree view there. Mountain lakes and streams will cool you down on hot summer days. A dream spot from January to December!

It is a very nice, cosy house with good facilities, the three bathrooms were perfect for us with 3 families, towels were ready on arrival, we liked it very much. The sauna was easy to use and very warming in the cold, wet weather outside.
Everything was excellent! The arrangement with the landlords worked really well.
We were a little far from the grocery shops. But the beautiful landscape made us forget this small disadvantage. The chalet is very well equipped. After the hikes, we looked forward to a sauna and to the beautiful view on the terrace.

Very nice house, we felt very comfortable, but the parking spaces are small for the size of the house, 2 maximum 3 spaces for small cars for a 12 person house.
If I have to choose one more time this cottage,I will do for sure 100% many times.
A beautiful villa that leaves nothing to be desired. The house is very tastefully decorated and the sauna barrel in the garden is the crowning glory! The chalet is very spacious; there is room for 12 people comfortably.
A beautiful villa with a very great interior. Super large and also very suitable for 12 people. The wonderful surroundings and the great leisure activities nearby round off the stay very well.
