Luxurious penthouse apartment with sauna

This luxuriously furnished penthouse is located in the small district of Pichl in the idyllic and popular tourist resort of Mariapfarr - in the middle of the top ski areas in the region (Fanningberg, Großeck-Speiereck, Aineck-Katschberg, Obertauern). Mariapfarr has been proven to be one of the sunniest places in Austria and is known for its picturesque landscape, as a destination for those seeking relaxation, for its living tradition and has also been awarded the title "climatic health resort"
In summer, there are countless opportunities in Salzburg's Lungau to get out and about in the beautiful countryside, such as cycling or hiking. All this in a fantastically beautiful mountain landscape with numerous mountain lakes, the right place to relax!
As a winter sports enthusiast, you have plenty of choice here! The Mauterndorf ski area Grosseck-Speiereck is nearby. It is child-friendly, but with 50 kilometres of slopes it also offers enough and has not yet been discovered by mass tourism! For more of a challenge, the Aineck Katschberg ski area is a 15-minute drive away. Here you will find 16 lifts and 70 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty. The longest run is the A1 with a length of 5.6 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 1,100 metres. Within 20 minutes by car you are at the lifts of Obertauern, in an area that was recently declared the snowiest and most snow-sure area in Austria.
With a wide range of leisure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or walks in the snow in winter or hiking, mountain biking, golfing and much more in summer, Mariapfarr has a lot to offer for young and old!

Like last year, we were again guests in this beautiful flat. Here you can clearly see again if you don't build and furnish sparingly. We could not notice any wear and tear compared to last year. The kitchen equipment has been extended (kettle). However, a few more glasses could definitely be provided. You can also clearly see that the whole process is more structured than last year. Very nice and above all very clean flat. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
On arrival, after a long drive, we found a lovely heated, clean and well-equipped holiday home. How nice that is.
We were there for the second time. There have been a few improvements since last year (shower doors, etc.) Now there is also a light in the sauna. It is a pity if you want to go to the sauna in the dark and there is no curtain at the window. Unfortunately, the remote control in the main bedroom did not fit the TV (Samsung TV, Grundig operation), so it was not possible to operate and use it in bed. This time the fridge was off. We arrived with food, which was gone then. That was very annoying, because it had been on the previous year. Otherwise, the flat is very stylish and clean, as always. We still had a nice stay.
Great flat, everything as pictured and described.The guest folder is a great idea, but would also have to be maintained accordingly.Great kitchen, which can really be used for cooking. 2 points off for the fact that the flat was not yet cleaned when we arrived. The excuse that it was a busy weekend doesn't help either. We finally managed it, so the cleaning team on site should also manage it. There is also no Lungaucard as described in the e-mail! There are no hooks for towels in the bathrooms and we should invest in fly screens and doors.
We felt totally at home. The flat is very well furnished, with a washing machine which is a real advantage. Super location, very nice and quiet.

A fantastic, beautiful holiday flat. It has everything you need and more. Just as beautiful as shown in the photos. We felt very comfortable. Contact persons on site for all cases came with the booking confirmation. Good to know , although we did not need them. Balconies very private with good views.key reception via code lock perfect. We were completely satisfied.
