Apartment Schneerose

While the place is cute and comfortable, we were unable to easily communicate with the owners. It may have been a language barrier, but the listing says they spoke English. I sent them a message on What's App as well as 2 separate emails, and we never got a single response from them even acknowledging our messages. We were there for a wedding, and were very busy so we didn't have the time visit the owners in person (we think they were upstairs) as we left very early and returned late each day. We were also only given 1.25 rolls of toilet paper on arrival for our 6 day stay. When we realized we were low, it was Sunday evening and nothing is open in Austria. Thankfully, we made a late night run to a friend's house as we were completely out! Please include a few back up rolls just in case.

Beautiful flat fully equipped, nice terrace with large garden table. With visitor pass we could use the lift and received several discounts. Village of Hinterthal is not big does have a few cosy restaurants. Maria Alm is a very nice village and has some more facilities.

All expectations were met, very friendly, clean and well equipped; nothing was missing and a lot of fun.

We had the small flat. It was sufficient for the 3 of us for 3 days. The hostess is very nice and takes care of you immediately if you have a request. The flat had one bedroom, an open kitchen incl. sofa bed. I missed the kettle and toaster but that is not a minus point. Nice bathroom, everything small but nice. Very clean and modern. The flat is located outside of Maria Alm town centre but this was doable by car for 5-8 min. We also hiked from the flat. I can recommend this accommodation. You can shop and eat in Maria Alm. There you will also find Lilly's Restaurant, which belongs to our landlord Lisa. I can warmly recommend the restaurant. Incredibly beautiful and delicious food.

Very nice little apartment with a covered terrace. Everything was there and we had super nice hosts who also gave us one or two tips for restaurants etc. We were here on our first holiday with a baby - the cot fitted perfectly next to the bed and the blinds were worth their weight in gold. Very friendly owners, the flat is very clean and charmingly furnished. We felt very comfortable. Wonderful location with numerous excursion destinations. Insider tip from the landlady: highlight 20 m behind the house a wonderful, well-hidden bathing lake.
