Comfortable apartment with sauna
Mauterndorf, Salzburgerland, Austria
This first-class furnished apartment in alpine style with lots of wood and trams is located in Pichl, between the well-known towns of Mauterndorf and Mariapfarr, in the middle of the ski and holiday region Lungau. The area is well known for being one of the sunniest regions in Austria, but also for its picturesque landscape.

In summer, there are countless opportunities in Salzburg's Lungau to get out and about in the beautiful countryside, such as cycling or hiking. All this in a fantastically beautiful mountain landscape with numerous mountain lakes, the right place to relax!
As a winter sports enthusiast, you have plenty of choice here! The Mauterndorf ski area Grosseck-Speiereck is nearby. It is child-friendly, but with 50 kilometres of slopes it also offers enough and has not yet been discovered by mass tourism! For more of a challenge, the Aineck Katschberg ski area is a 15-minute drive away. Here you will find 16 lifts and 70 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty. The longest run is the A1 with a length of 5.6 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 1,100 metres. Within 20 minutes by car you are at the lifts of Obertauern, in an area that was recently declared the snowiest and most snow-sure area in Austria.
With a wide range of leisure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or walks in the snow in winter or hiking, mountain biking, golfing and much more in summer, Mariapfarr has a lot to offer for young and old!

Very well equipped holiday flat. Good comfort. Everything very clean and new. Nice that there is also a sauna floor. Unfortunately, the traffic is clearly audible at night.

A very nice flat as seen in the pictures. The accommodation was clean and well cleaned. There were enough towels. You should bring your own detergent, then you can use the washing machine and dryer. The location is easy to reach and in 20km you are in the skiing area Obertauern (snow guaranteed until May). 15km to the Katschberg. In summer and winter beautiful activities, skiing, tobogganing, hiking possible in the surrounding area. Shopping facilities are within 3min walking distance or by car for daily grocery needs.
A great house with a lot of space, an incredible spa within the house and very accommodating hosts. Everything was great, from cleanliness to comfort, very well equipped kitchen and a great location, next to the road for Obertauern and very close to Tamsweg/Mauterndorf. Will visit again!!
The flat offers a lot of comfort. Unfortunately, the complex is not yet finished and is located directly on a highway. Otherwise, it is beautiful, very cosy, excellently and tastefully furnished. The surroundings offer a lot of variety and are ideal for a family hiking holiday.
Location / view is against, format is not thought about 2 seater sofa for 5 people is really too little wellness on the landing with passage to 2 bedrooms not practical and front view side with other houses mattresses too hard even though I love hard mattresses
A really beautiful and very high quality holiday home in a small and very exclusive holiday complex. The Lungau is really beautiful and offers many possibilities. Service was perfect, we will definitely be back.
