The Mayrhofen ski area is located in Tyrol, Austria. It is located at an altitude of 630 to 1,964 metres above sea level and is a very interesting area for skiers.
The mountains surrounding the ski area are called Ahorn, Penken and Rastkogel. They include the villages of Mayrhofen, Hippach and Ramsau.
The ski area has a total of 142 kilometres of slopes, including easy to difficult slopes. There are about 50 ski lifts, including gondolas, chairlifts and T-bar lifts. The ski area is part of the Zillertal 3000.

Aprés Ski in Mayrhofen is famous!

The Mountopolis ski area in Mayrhofen is considered snow-sure. The ski area stretches up to around 2,500 metres, where there is usually plenty of snow in winter. Access is via the Ahornbahn and the Penkenbahn.
Most of the pistes are also equipped with modern snow cannons, which can quickly make enough snow when needed. If the snow leaves something to be desired, there is the Hintertuxer Glacier, a little further down the Zillertal.
Can I do cross country skiing?
You can also go cross-country skiing in the area, for example in Mayrhofen and Hippach, where there are around 33 km of trails. There are also many kilometres in the other resorts, such as Finkenberg.
Which bigger ski resort is Mountopolis part of?

The Zillertal Super Ski Pass is valid in all major ski areas (Hochzillertal - Hochfügen, Zillertal Arena, Zillertal 3000 in the Zillertal). This pass is also valid at Mountopolis/Mayrhofner Bergbahnen.
Are there free ski buses?
Yes, winter sports enthusiasts in possession of a valid ski pass can use the ski buses to and from the valley stations, the Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe buses and the Green Line between Mayrhofen and Hintertux free of charge.
